Franz is playing 30 minutes a game and starting and allowed to play thru mistakes. You honestly don’t think Kuminga couldn’t do the same if he played for Orlando? You honestly don’t think Wagner would be struggling for minutes bc he doesn’t ‘play the right way’ if he was in GS?

The problem is GS. They’re stuck on an old model in a league where there’s no defense and 19 year olds are coming in getting buckets

You think Shaeden Sharpe just magically ‘knows the game’. No, he’s just as clueless as Kuminga. Except Portland let’s him keep it simple and go get a bucket.

Like what are the odds Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody, and Poole all can’t play…it’s not them, it’s the expectations. All 4 of them will/would thrive elsewhere
he would, but he still wouldnt be nearly as good as franz. Franz is a much better fit for GSW. He plays smart and makes good decisions for the most part. Kuminga doesnt play because he has low IQ, doesnt offer any passing/playmaking, and has effort/motor issues. If you switch Kuminga and Franz, Orlando's future doesn't look NEARLY as good. It's year 2 and Franz has really great feel for the game. This was seen even as a rookie. Kuminga will give u a crazy dunk every now and then, but nothing more than that

Wiseman is legit on a tanking team, and since going there, he has the worst net rating of all of them. He's routinely outplayed by Jalen Duren. He's just not good

Poole was the best version of himself. he was the 28th pick. His ceiling is Jamal Crawford: get buckets inefficiently, dont play defense, struggle in the playoffs

Moody looks to be a role player and that's it.

If a team is given THREE STRAIGHT LOTTO PICKS, the result has to be better than whatever the hell the warriors did with them, especially when you consider the best players in the 2020 and 2021 drafts were both attainable with the picks the warriors had. They kept missing, and its sinking them now. It's that simple

We won’t be able to definitely call Wiseman for a few years. Expectations matter, role matters, talent around him matters. Wiseman is on a tanking team now. But for all we know Detroit gets Wemby and wiseman is next to him. Who knows. So that one is TBD

As far as Poole, if Malik monk can be a high value asset on a winning team, Poole can too. But Poole is trash and can’t work for GS? Lol

Moody a role player ….ok he’s taken 9 3s this playoffs…Made 5. Again it seems like it’s misuse of assets by GS

And for Kuminga, again the game has changed. There’s ALL STARS who don’t even ‘know the game’. The expectations are too high.

Dudes pretending Steve Kerr would’ve done right by Lamelo :bryan: Lamelo is a ball dominant guard that thrives in the pick and roll, two things Kerr is allergic to coaching.

Jordan Poole is too wild and unpredictable for Kerr, but Lamelo is supposed to be a good fit? :mjlol:

Also the ultimate irony/embarrassment Re: Kuminga is Lonnie walker

Walker scores 12 in 24 minutes of garbage time and it earns him a starting spot and he saves the season

Kuminga scores 10 points in 12 minutes and it’s crickets

It rarely goes well when coaches get all old school and don’t utilize their youth. Shout out to the redeem team

You’re right, but Lamelo is an undeniable talent. He’s not system dependent. So in this same scenario it would be wildly apparent Kerr was holding Lamelo back

Whereas with poole, or Kuminga
, and maybe wiseman, they are like MOST players who are situation-dependent. So it’s hard to tell if it’s them, or if it’s a bad situation

But for reference Poole averaged 17 and 4apg on 50,40,90 in a title run :patrice:yet now people wondering if he can play at all.

It’s GS bruh. Too heavy on the ‘good ol boy’ style and not empowering their young players. And don’t discount draymonds effect. Dude is sorry as shyt but is the loudest voice on the team, everyone is scared of him, and he takes up 35 minutes a night

The fact that some of yall think Poole is even comparable to Lamelo says a lot.

The Warriors draft Lamelo and they not only win last year, but they're probably the 1 seed this year. He's a legit superstar.
Whose minutes would he be taking and what offense would they be running?

it's looking like a miss

Did you know he can't play his natural position because he has none of the skills required? And i'm not even exaggerating. I mean NONE. He has nearly a 1:1 ast/turnover ratio (1.9 to 1.4 specifically), so he cant pass, he cannot shoot with any consistency, doesn't have the IQ to make correct decisions constantly, commits headscratching fouls more often than not, can't dribble, can't create separation between himself and his defender either. And to top it all off, when the Warriors play him at the 4 or 5, he doesn't even rebound. And i haven't even talked about his attitude and motor. Literally ZERO requisite wing skills

I watched Franz outplay kuminga BOTH times the warriors played Orlando. There's a reason people are high on Orlando's future. They drafted the 2 best players in b2b drafts. Kuminga isn't even close to being considered best in the draft
You think Franz Wagner is the best player of his draft?

Who cares what offense they're running - Lamelo is going to fit no matter what. Already a great shooter that is looking like he'll be an all time great shot creator. Already capable of lifting bottom level offenses to near league average. You put him on GS and he's their 2nd best player in his 2nd year.

GS can play him as their 6th man cutting their wing minutes. They've played Poole/Steph/Klay before, and it's a sure thing Lamelo would eventually start taking over Klay's minutes with him being the primary PG and Steph being off ball.

Regardless it's a silly thought. If you have the ability to draft a superstar to an already loaded team you do it. He's good enough to play in any role.

You think Franz Wagner is the best player of his draft?
yeah. he's available, plays both good team and man defense, can pass it, can shoot it. He's the second best player on a team that had one of the best records since all star break. yes, i think he's better than Cade and even Evan. Kuminga isnt even close to the level of those guys. And if u give Kuminga franz's minutes, the Orlando magic are a noticeably worse team

Wiseman is a bust. Im calling it now. And it's not a hard call to make. He was the most destructive player on the warriors and carried that over to the Pistons, where he is still the worst player statistically,

Poole and monk are legitimately 2 different players. He hit his ceiling last year. also monk is more athletic and versatile than poole.

Moody hitting 5/9 threes means literally nothing. And he wasnt playing well which is why he got benched. The revisionist history is funny

The expectations arent high for Kuminga. he's just not showing effort. He's expected to go for rebounds, box out and not be a ball stopper. he hasnt done any of that. go out there and show u wanna be there. he hasnt done it

What? :heh: You say that like Malik monk is prime Jordan….. ‘Last year was his ceiling’ yea no shyt 50/40/90 is everybody’s ceiling :heh:

He can regress from that and still be a high level player, with an outside shot at being a starting PG somewhere.

Y’all gotta stop being so cocky like you can tell the future based on a players limited role. The rockets don’t know James harden would be James harden….the nuggets didnt know young Chauncey Billups would be Chauncey billups…ironically GS, no one saw all star 2 way Andrew wiggins coming…no one knew Austin Reaves was that nice until Russ leaves, etc etc

Bottom line you don’t know. You can’t always tell from a players current role. What the common denominator is tho: if a guy shows he has talent, 9/10 it ain’t a fluke if you give him a bigger/clearer role and/or surround him with proper talent, he’s gonna thrive. Poole has shown that level of talent. And Kuminga and Moody are TWENTY

Franz is a good role player but he isn’t going to end up better than Mobley or Cade. He and Barnes are in the same area Imo.
