I'd be ok with either of these, this team is in desperate need of frontcourt reinforcement even if Zion comes back and has no further issues. The Magic trade is very high ceiling, low floor boom or bust potential. The Pacers one plays it way more safe but accommodates Zion fit-wise a bit better as well. I think Jrue is gone 100% either way, if not at the deadline then definitely this summer where he will have suitors lined up reeling from the WOAT free agency class of the past 5+ years. I think these reports are coming out not because Griff and the FO has had a change of heart on the direction of the team after this tailspin... but because Jrue has quietly requested to be moved himself.

Thanks, and I know, I seeing idiots on twitter talking about a 20/5/5 1st defensive team guy in his prime on a value contract being worth nothing but Josh Okogie and a heavily protected 1st or Kyle Kuzma and KCP
And that's not even considering how bad this upcoming trade deadline and free agency looking; there's a real chance Jrue is the best available player in the entire NBA straight up for the next 8+ months. Beal is the only player worth more that I could see becoming available during that time, and that can't even happen until the offseason even if it does (I don't think it will considering his new extension). I been critical of Griff and the FO's inaction recently but I can't complain about any player transaction they've made so far; I trust that they'll do Jrue right and get good value in return if/when he's moved.

Man if we can lose these next 2... we'd be on a franchise record 15 loss streak, with the worst overall record in the league, capped off with a loss to the former worst team in the league in GS. That combination of total suckage altogether might actually be publicly humiliating enough for Gump Griff to finally wake up and get Red Eyes outta here. Here's hoping
