We have a solid backup center already... his name is Jaxson Hayes and the coaching staff has been absolutely loathe to give him more than 10-15 mins a game unless a figurative injury gun has been pointed at their heads point blank forcing them to. No coincidence that when Gentry FINALLY benched Okafor for a whole game and gave Jax all of his minutes instead we end up getting the biggest win of the calendar year tonight (no, seriously, this was our biggest win points wise since January
...
). And when Zion comes back and stops him from instinctively going to those wack ass 3-4 guard rotations with Ingram at the 4 and 5 for good...

I meant when Favors is out, then Gentry had to play Okafor. Griffin should get one more, anyone who can play some defense as an insurance for Favors. Some people were saying we kept the wrong Okafor back when we cut Emeka and kept Jah last training camp
I think Griff and Trajan probably did do their due diligence on getting a better 3rd option at center and just didn't like what they saw. I remember you calling for Joakim Noah earlier, he woulda helped but apparently he been denying calls from teams cause he only wants to go to LA or another serious contender. Most vets looking for a team seem to feel the same way and just want to jump on either of the LA team bandwagons for the postseason like Iguodala. Few willingly want to come off the bench for a young team like my man Vince has for the Hawks these past few years
