So if they aren't actively trying to suck and maximize draft position this is even more trash.

The Spurs really made out like bandits. They didn't have to trade ANYONE of value in this trade, they didn't deal any real picks either. I would have been fine with this trade if it netted this team Sochan back in a deal.

That way, you at least are trading your best player for a legit PF moving forward.

Huerter has been worse than Patrick Williams this season.

They traded all their pieces for nothing...

Just looking at the Bulls draft capital situation moving forward is depressing. We give away 2nd Rounders and still take back bad contracts.

Portland's 1st from the Lauri trade is never going to convey unless the Blazers make the damn playoffs within the next 3 years. After trading 3 firsts for Vuc, not adding additional firsts in wake of that with these moves is just bad asset management.

I'm not even sure if they're going to tank. The trade is surely picking a direction, but I have to see how Billy coaches the team and how hell bent he manages them in games to either get wins or just let guys play that need to be evaluated.

The reason they wanted their pick back entirely IMO is so they don't have to worry about losing intentionally to keep the pick. That's the damning shyt that is being missed in all of this.
