I'm not a cap expert but I'm assuming these fools are so close to the luxury tax that they can't make a move for any of these guys who are on the move to improve.

Will be fascinating watching this team manage to be hovering around the same record despite so many top teams in the conference down key guys all season.

and we get the privilege of paying the guy the new champs decided couldn’t see meaningful minutes in the playoffs 30 mil a year. Lovely

I'm so over the giddy situation. they gotta let him find his own deal this summer instead of bidding against themselves.

second, him having a hot 2 months does NOT entitle him to $30M+ annually IMO :manny:

dude is a slightly above average player. and I don't give a damn that he's only 22. this is the same logic AKME used with p-wil, and look where that got us.

East looking wide open and we’re praying Giddey takes the next step so we can secure the play in again.

the ONLY reason the bulls are even able to make the play-in each season is cuz half the teams tank the 2nd half of the season while the bulls are trying their best to win 39 games putting up empty stats.

I can’t remember but does this still include Zach? I thought if we traded him away he gets an incentive and we have to pay for everything lmao

The only expiring contract they traded Zach for was Tre Jones. So they really only shredded 9M from their cap when they dealt LaVine in Feb.

Everybody else had another year left... So instead of coming into this off-season with flexibility to make trades with teams looking to get off money they can't.

:mjlol:

Bulls struggling to move Vuc after this last season is a joke. Boston got off Holiday and KP for Simons, Niang and 2nd Round picks... The teams they traded them to had cap space to absorb the incoming money. Bulls traded Zach LaVine and still aren't in position to actually add real vet talent.

It's unbelievable how bad this organization's asset management has been

Pat had a terrible season, which is why now is the worst time to entertain trades for him.

Bulls would have to attach picks with him to trade him due to the deal they gave him.

Does Golden State do Kuminga for Pat+Lonzo if Kuminga's looking for 30M a year deal?

It would make sense to trade him for expirings to get off that money faster but who knows

Maluach is the guy I've wanted for quite a while, but I doubt he gets past Toronto

I was warming up to Essengue but hearing that he left his French team right before the championship game to come to NYC for the draft is wild. No thanks
