and we get the privilege of paying the guy the new champs decided couldn’t see meaningful minutes in the playoffs 30 mil a year. Lovely
Going to be funny when everyone realizes OKC flipped Giddey for Caruso and drafted Giddey's replacement in the same off-season...

Even with OKC winning it all, they still could use another play maker, and that's exactly what Topic is who they picked last year at 12. I doubt they keep both of their firsts in this draft, they may start consolidating a bit here now

OKC actually realizes how valuable these rookie contracts will be in the new CBA. I don’t think they will consolidate unless it’s to move up in the draft. They are gonna use these picks to put rookie contracts around the core of SGA, Williams & Chet and start flipping players for more picks before the money is due like we see NFL teams due to manage the cap. It’s why that Suns trade is such trash too. They gave up a top ten pick that’s cost controlled and added a 33 mil contact for a player that can’t play two ways. That’s a killer in today’s league & CBA

I'm thinking they move up.

They'll have 3 rookies on the roster next year if they keep their first this draft along with Topic coming along, that's why I mentioned it.

watching Chet just reinforced how badly i don’t want Derik Queen this week. I really don’t get what you’re seeing there. A center that can’t shoot or defend is a recipe for disaster in modern NBA. Sell me on the vision

Queen is an improved 3 ball away from being a #1 option type of talent. He literally has everything else on offense. He can pass, he can handle and make great reads which fits what Billy is trying to do here. Not even mentioning that he's a bucket.

The defense is really overstated. He's a smart enough player to be solid defensively in a scheme. And with him being a plus rebounder if you put him on the floor with rim protection, the pros outweigh the cons. Matas at the 3 has already shown he's a + help defender for blocking shots. Bulls would ideally need to get another big that can block shots to pair with him

having to find rim protection for your center is a big problem IMO. his defense really looks like it projects to be ass, lets be honest

even an offensively elite center like KAT is on the bench during important playoff minutes, unless this guy projects to be a 25 ppg efficient scorer, he hes not going to be valuable in the league

we just went through this with Vuce, I dont get why Bulls fans like this guy

KAT is a dumb basketball player. Queen's IQ is more in the Jokic lane. Unlike KAT, Queen doesn't commit remedial fouls when defending and knows which spots to be at on the floor. They are not the same
