Saw an article this summer talking about how this season would be the ideal time to trade Coby. Ridiculous value contract. He's going to be up for a deal next year and rightfully demand an amount that a team in purgatory shouldn't really extend.

They didn't give him a 5 year deal in RFA like they did with Pat so while he's on a great value contract, they aren't going to want to pay him his actualized value in 2 years. Plus they'll have paid Giddey, and by then that new TV deal will have kicked in and Coby will be looking to get a big pay day.

Something to monitor over the next year for sure. Ayo is also going to command a bag in this timeframe as well
