This was good. Ending sort of saved it because the "reveal" is kinda stupid and more importantly......its hollow.
There was a moment where I sat back in the chair and went oh ok. I see what its hitting at, but then it did nothing with that.

Potential spoilers
IMO more of a psychological thriller/dark comedy with horror elements. The things we consume will be the end of us. Particularly overconsumption and overindulging in anything.

Im just responding to there being a bunch of hate on social media right now.Why do people feel the need to bring Jordan Peele into every horror movie discussion?
Although some of it is just
1. Ribbing him for not making as good of movie lately.
2. His production company lost out on the rights for this movie, so people are being a bit extra about it.

TGreat catch. Thx, I came in precisely because I was wondering why she needed all those kids for. I thought her purpose was to weaponize them against someone, but it quickly became obvious she didn't have a specific enemy. She was "only" attacking people who were getting too close.

Another thing I noticed was that at one point they're watching TV and they talking about cordyceps, I just watched TLOU 2 so felt like a nod to that. Plus one scene in class they're talking about parasites. Aunt Gladys is basically a human parasite.
