If your work week is on a tight schedule, it is hard to keep that same energy through the weekend and manage time efficiently. I’m also mentally spent by the time the weekend hits.

nikkas defending the standard 9-5 5 days a week work schedule is comical. shyt was invented in the 1800s by Labor Unions and popularized by Ford in the 1920s for car manufacturing. Before 90% of the core tools that are available to us in the work place today were invented.
Your productivity has increased but work hours have not scaled accordingly (decreased) due to capitalism, and not in the good capitalist way that will make you, the worker, earn more. The cost of living has gone up and inflation has ensured to keep in you in this spinning wheel cycle like a well trained hamster, meanwhile corporations and conglomerates reap the benefits of increased productivity and people’s unwillingness to challenge the status quo.

I signed up to work at Fedex. It was supposed to be 1pm-5pm right? Well that is now 1:30-5:30 and they got us comin in at 12:30 all week and last week.
Then they tried making me come in and working an extra whole shift during they lil peak season...I was finna walk out as soon as he said that shyt but he noticed and said I don't have to do it since he'd rather just keep me.
This comin in early shyt lame as hell even if it is only an hour. Thats not what yall advertised.

What's the problem? My company FOUGHT for years to go to 4 10s.. Every week is a 3 day weekend. We fighting for 3 days right now. Well I am on my shift. And it's about to happen. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and done for the week. What's a few hours on the beginning and end of the day. You already at work. Day is already pretty much fukked. I'll take the 3-4 days of freedom over 1-2 hours a day
