It's true we live in a politically correct time, Wayne called himself this when competition was stiff

So when someone says "lyrical myrical" rhymes here, that means they're lyrical but boring?

Have we reduced lyricism to a liability in hip hop?
rapping about how good you are at rapping:trash:

its one thing to be lyrical, but when you just rhyming and not really saying shyt except trying to fit in as many multis, metaphors and worplday as you can:francis:
that shyt cool for freestyles and such but a whole tape full of just that and nothing else/

the music gotta be good too

dudes should just be battle rappers which is cool

for example big pun and biggie great lyricists, but the music was great too. they had versatility they were DOPE RAPPERS AND ARTISTS all in one
not just nikkaz rhyming big words and shyt just for the fukk of it

Wayne never ever was the best rapper, are as lyrical as some of the dudes out right now. His best and most memorable songs are going to always be freestyles over other nikkaz songs. shyt that won't be remembered honestly. He is a shell of himself and looked at as clown

Even tho I never been a fan of his music, and he's never been known to be some hip hop business mogul or have a reputation as a great businessman, I love hearing Lil Wayne talk and drop knowledge. The stuff he says is alot more insightful than people who you would expect to drop knowledge like Dre, 50, and Russ etc..
