This video right here isn't a crossfit issue per say..more like a ego/not being honest about your strength issue. Her legs were strong enough to get the bar into triple extension but her should strength is lacking.

Also from the looks of it, she wasnt strong enough to even bail from the weight so my assumption is that someone failed her. It happens but this is a worse case scenario right above tearing/breaking something.

So I won't outright say that its a pure cf issue(they werent doing a high volume of snatches) but its purely olympic lifting from my view point

Improper breathing techniques and lifting too heavy when fatigued cause stuff like this, those movements make alot of blood rush out and can cause you to temporarily lose consciousness. That's why you see lifters faces turn purple when lifting beyond their limits.

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Oly lifts don't "make a lot of blood rush out", people turn red/purple from holding their breath while doing the Valsalva maneuver. :ufdup:

You could do any or all of these lifts without holding your breath, but most people do it as a cue to maintain intrabdominal pressure.

Olympic lifts require technique and speed/rapid force generation over strength. If the bar is not sped up fast enough, the lift *will* fail.

Dumb gym broad was too slow moving the bar through space and paid the iron price. :francis:

You people who ain't really bout that gym life stay exposing yourselves.
