Yeah, so I'll only speak to the top 3 channels and how they currently operate but they now basically only pose as 13 and under, they never message first, when the predator turns the convo sexual the decoy never encourages or furthers that convo, they give the predators to the moment they come to meet to change their mind and do the right thing.

And something ppl should be aware of especially the "entrapment choir" is that how these cases are really able to stick and move forward is that because 9 times outta 10 when the sting happens and the police come the predators phone is full of c.p. so even if the predator was tricked, entrapped, gaslit and confused they still have 1000+ images of child exploitation in their gallery, so fukk em and I hope they burn.

Yeah they actually have it down to a science, I'm not saying there aren't channels where it's just 2 guys from Cleveland with a iPhone screaming "this guy came to meet a 15 year old" in Walmart's frozen food aisle and then they chase him around the parking lot and no arrests get made, cause theres plenty of that but, the main big channels like this have a thoroughly structured playbook they adhere to.

The smartest thing they do is empathize with he pred and tell them "I dont think you need trouble I just think you need some help" and "I know you didn't seek out the material but what kind have ppl sent you" and the line that gets the most results is "we want you to help us get the REAL bad guys the ones manufacturing the abuse videos" and then these people just spill, all of a sudden it goes from "I'm aware these telegram groups have these cp trading scenes but I dont watch the videos" to them detailing everything that happens in an infant abuse video. When you understand the severity of the abuse these predators are involved in it becomes so cut n dry.

I'm glad they switched to this strategy cause it does make it so theres no room for grey areas. Cause yeah some smaller channels have had like an 18 year old getting stung for trying to holler at a 16 year old but with these guys its very clear the level of predator they're catching.

And in all honesty probably 30% or more of the ppl these guys catch are on the registry already so it really illustrates the severity of this epidemic and how poor the response has been from traditional law enforcement and the legal system in so many states. So I gotta salute these guys cause a big thing they promote is putting pressure on state prosecutors to shift their focus from non violent drug crime to child abuse crime.

I appreciate the break down and will say this bluntly: while the clout-chasing amateurs do more harm than good by contaminating evidence, the major channels that run a disciplined playbook are doing some real essential work. When decoys follow non-provocative scripts, preserve chain of custody, and coordinate with prosecutors, they remove the “gray area” defenses and produce two independent streams of evidence... the suspect’s conduct and the phone history. That’s how cases become prosecutable instead of just viral clips.

Kids today are online earlier than ever and predators don’t need porn sites or the dark web no more, they find children in game chats, social apps, and DMs. Add economic vulnerability and teenage hunger for attention, and grooming becomes tragically easy.

I'll say this, if I were to try to paint predators in the most favorable or sympathetic light possible I would probably use this guy to do so, a clean cut, well mannered, shy, nervous, bumbling guy who could remind you of somebody you know. Weaponized empathy and sympathy is 2 of the strongest tools in a predators arsenal. That's why I like to take a step back and see if I've come to this empathy honestly or via emotional manipulation.
