He is a victim. Martin probably struggles with morals which most of you lack. As a child I was told not to fight. Not to talk back, not to disrupt adults. I was picked on and my mom said ignore it. Okay. It kept on. I ignored it. Then my mom went to the school. Teacher told the kids my mom said they were bothering me. Needless to say they continued and I felt betrayed by my mother, the teacher and everyone else. Eventually I fought back and guess what? I was labeled the villain and troublemaker by the teachers. Now I'm paranoid of what my mom is going to say. I don't know what to do. Mom finds out and she too vilifies me. Now I'm even more conflicted . I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't.

I mean I come from the Army. I was in basic training at Fort Knox. And there was simply NO WAY in the fukk I was going to allow some Cac (or ANYONE for that matter) speak to me in that matter. Nah man. It's a different environment. In polite society I'd never be the animal that I was in the locker room outside of it. There are no villains there cause everyone is a villian. Just like a classroom is a different environment than real life. I understand what you say about turning the other cheek or ignoring it, but you're digging a hole that way too. I wouldn't fight in class, but if we out on the playground and no teacher's are around to stop people attacking you then you gotta protect yourself. Martin should've been smart enough to understand the environment and culture to know that trying to blend is wayyyyy worse than throwing blows.
