Not sure what gives anyone in this thread the qualifications to say otherwise. I wouldn't raise my kids like that personally but I'm not appalled or gonna chastise any parent that does. It takes a certain kind of strength to stick to your convictions, instead of saying "okay son just bust him in the mouth" like any other parent would.

Well, his fam is super academic and I don't think were prepared to raise their son to play in the jungle like environment like the NFL. I was raised in an academic environment but when I went to a hood middle school, my dad taught me to handle business. My dad was more Malcolm X than MLK and believed in this quote.
