RIP to my dad.....but I was in 3rd grade and the biggest dude in the class decided that it was my turn, the smallest dude in the class at the time, to get picked on. Dude grabbed my up and was yoking me off my feet......but I was in "fukk ALL THAT" mode, saw that niqqas bare neck and sunk my fukking teeth into dude. He dropped my ass quick and I was the one whose parents got called.
My pops gets to the school......hears about what I did to the bully after speaking to the principal and then asks me:
Pops: What happened?
Me: He choked me!!
Pops: He grabbed you first?
Me: Yes!!!
Pops: Ok.... Lets go home. You'll be back in school tomorrow.

Confronting some bullies as a kid or adult doesnt mean theyll stop. You can use words, threats of violence, actual violence, even help from authority figures, if the bullies are hard headed pieces of shyt, they'll continue on with the bullying Especially in this day and age when bullying doesnt even have to be done in person and face to face (online bullying). Sometimes the only real solution is to leave wherever the bullying is taking place. Go to a new school, find a new job etc..
But here's the thing: If the only way to get out of a bullying situation is to be forced to leave, for the sake of your peace of mind and soul, it better be because you exhausted every alternative to fight back against your tormentors. Its ok to lose the fight if you go down swinging, metaphorically or literally, but how the hell can a person live with themselves, be ok with who they see in the mirror if they didnt put up a fight at all?
