American workers having too much time to think and reflect is bad for Big Corporate. The more folks think, the more they realize shyt is fukked up and the more they seek to either escape the system or break the system.

It's quite easy to tell if the job is legit or not, but a older person would easily be scammed by them. But basically

They introduce themselves via text or email.
They tell you that they are contacting you in regard to your resume, and it has been approved by "Company name" and that you are on the list of candidates selected for a interview.
They tell you to download a app called "Telegram", to set up a email with "Fake Hiring Manager Name"

I was about to download Telegram, but before I did I research this person name and to see if he was actually part of said company. I found no details on him whatsoever.
Then I googled "Telegram job scam", and behold a bunch of other people got similar messages.

I read that one guy actually downloaded Telegram, they sent him a link over Telegram to buy and download "Company software" after passing the interview.
You can figure out how the rest of the scam went :francis:.

I keep getting these messages non-stop, and be aware of any recruiter that says they will pay you to get a certificate.
