Student loans, pandemic fuccery, minimum wage hike. Failed on all of those and throw the Afghan non sense in there to boot it’s not looking good. fukked up as it is, American voters don't give a shyt about Afghanistan, especially when both sides wanted the soldiers home. And everyone with a functioning brain knows that Republicans are responsible for more of the pandemic fukkery than Dems are

My guess is that they're still gonna get a compromise minimum wage hike out there and make limited half-measures when it comes to student loan forgiveness (they just announced forgiveness for 300,000 disabled folk).

The bigger thing that will hurt dems in the midterms is anti-voting laws and post-census gerrymandered districts. Republicans control 35 state legislatures due to their rural advantages and pre-existing gerrymandering, and they've made it even worse this time around.

Yea my only issue was that essential workers weren’t getting anything. It wasn’t that unemployed people WERE getting something.

What qualifies as chicken change these days though? The jobs I've been applying and interviewing for have all started at $17-20 minimum with sign-on bonuses. Now obviously a $20/hr job isn't going to cover everything but if you can work 2 jobs that both pay like that...
