More teams potentially jumping into the fold that maybe wouldn't have at first.
Jimmy's agent can try and hoe Shams all he wants, but everyone knows that the reports are true as Jimmy wants his bread and wasn't happy with how Riley spoke of him after this past season.
One has actually showed up in the playoffs and performed when it matters, while the other one hasn't so I wouldn't really compare the two.

Embiid has an MVP so talentwise I wouldn't compare the two either.
But they both have no rings. Almost doesn't count. Like I said, Embiid with better PR.
This situation could easily be solved by Miami offering him the extension. They're the ones making it the story.
If they don't want to pay him and someone else will, then let him go.
Until then, it's going to be a story in the league whether he's worth the narrative or not.

Mark's tweet is rather misleading as it's completely leaving out the important detail that the Clippers were able to let PG walk for nothing since the Sixers had the cap space to sign him outright while doing them a favor in the process.
Jimmy unfortunately doesn't have that luxury outside of the Nets.
