Wendy Williams says she fainted on live TV from overheating

Viewers were startled to see the talk show host fall over on stage during the Halloween taping. Williams came back on air to say she overheated in her Statue of Liberty costume.

That seems to always be the excuse for celebs

I think if it was faked she would've spiced it up with some eye rolling. That confusion and panic in her eyes seemed genuine. Them leaving it in the taping for replays is suspect tho.

I think it was real and I also think that it was a PR move. First of all, her eyes indicated that it was real. Her eyes were going in different directions and she had slurred speech. She is not an actor therefore if it was fake she would have turnt it up a notch and we'd notice that it was bad acting. On the other hand, I think it was a good PR move to keep it in the show. As we know, her show like a lot of other day time talk shows are pre taped, sometimes they tape two episodes in one day. And, knowing all of the backlash that she has been recieving lately for talking shyt about ppl this would bring her both sympathy from the industry and the public and it would also get her more viewers for future shows which would thus keep her as the number #1 day time talk show host.
