That happens with damn near every order at every fast food restaurant every time, so I'm gonna say it's the HUMAN workers fukking up your order...which is is one of the reasons I can't wait for all food places (and every other business, really) to start using AI for EVERYTHING. A correctly programmed computer will be better at tasks than humans 99.9% of the time...

It depends…. If a merchant has self checkout or kiosks, it essentially takes the place of a cashier….. I’m pretty sure it has in fast food restaurants

ok, but how many cashiers are doing that full time at a restaurant today? I’ve worked in fast food before and the cashiers usually have other duties besides sitting at the register, especially if the store is busy

If you’re saying it could potentially reduce headcount I agree but most of the real work in a restaurant doesn’t really revolve around taking orders or manning the register anyway

That's true, but I mean the AI fukks it up to the point where say I order a baconator and it will say something like chicken asiago and ask of that’s right I be like no, then it'll fukk up the drink because i ask for light ice and light salt on my fries then it be like hol on let me get somebody for you

Taking fast food orders through drive thru was just ONE part of the job. This will free up the employees to go help in the kitchen and other areas so shyt wont get backed up.

I've been inside some McDonalds locations and they literally have kiosks where you can place your order, no human involved until its handed over. Why does a drive thru need AI
