Didn’t some other restaurant try this? I remember people were complaining because the AI had difficulty understanding them and it kept messing up orders.

I think the Wendy's near my place is a money laundering front, ever since the pandemic you can't go inside and you could be first in line at the drive through and your order is still gonna take 30-45 minutes.

If humans are still putting the orders together then napkins and ketchup will still be missing and orders still may be fukked up so what's the upside here?
Order taking is probably the most efficient part of the process already. It's cooking and putting the order together that's the bottle neck

I work in the industry and I speak with people who been in the industry for 30+ years.

Ain't nobody getting replaced by A.I. anytime soon.
