Given what the Lions got for Stafford and how the Bears have no other options, I still think its a lopsided deal if we only get a first. If fuggin Sam Bradford got us a higher pick, Wentz should be worth more IMO.

Firing Doug was never about choosing Wentz, Lurie made that blatantly clear when he called Wentz an asset and hinted at trading him during his press conference about Doug. Hiring Sirianni was never solely about fixing Wentz, he was hired because Lurie believes he can turn into a good coach that's around for a long time.
You never fire or hire someone based on one player, that's media narrative nonsense for Skip and SAS to babble about. Same way Brian Johnson wasn't hired as QB Coach solely because of his relationship with Hurts, he's a rising assistant that many think is gonna be a HC one day.

I can’t wait until Wentz is gone so I no longer have to see him yell “kill kill kill” at the line and then proceed to hold the ball for an eternity. Which of course is followed by him attempting to duck under a pass rusher like a dumbass and lose 12 yards.
