Airbus announced Friday that it had delivered the 200th A320-family jetliner assembled in Mobile.

The company made the announcement via social media. “Holidays are about Family – so we’ve delivered our 200th #A320Family member produced in #Mobile, Alabama to American Airlines!” said a Facebook post. “The #A321neo joins one of the youngest fleets in the region, building on the airline’s focus on fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft.”

A lot of strategic manufacturing happens in Alabama. People sleep on Huntsville and its impact on the American economy.

It's rocket engines up this way.

Boeing and Airbus have operations in the state, as well as many of the other names you hear about in the aviation and space exploration community. NASA, Army, FBI (2nd Headquarters), car manufacturing and logistics.....Some are sleep, but I see those out-of-state tags all around the roadways.....:unimpressed:

If that company that is building planes is white OP is kooning.

If its black owned dap and rep
nah, seriously though manufacturing plants usually employ alot of black folks and pay them a living wage with decent benefits.
Thats why i'm always salty when these companies outsource to other countries.
