You should want a good balance. More defensive oriented but you don’t want to be an offensively inept team from the coach’s chair. I think whichever way you go you’ll want great specialists and assistants for both sides of the ball.

Wizards are stuck with that core in some way shape or form if they want to contend.
Magic is just a box of jigsaw pieces from like 5 different sets that don't match together. Outside of Anthony, the younger players don't give you much to be excited about.

Mosley seems to be well-regarded, and he does have the Doncic connection. But then, Brooks was (likely) hired at least in part as a last-ditch effort to make #KD2DC happen, so...
