What happened to snipes why don’t I see him in movies anymore?

I always thought he was just blackballed from the movie industry.

After his prison term, it was just hard for him to land roles. Got a good shot on a spy drama on NBC, The Player that got axed....

Been mostly doing DVD movies, but like all great actors, they take on smaller parts after their prime run...

He's still in good enough shape to play Blade....

I said when I saw that status on FB about Snipes saving Marvel that Wesley deserves a Blade film with the new Marvel studios funding and promotion train. Wes deserves to be immortalized, but sadly it won't happen. He may not be old now, but by the time they put everyone together for a movie, he will be too old for the role.

I cannot and will not support a recast/reboot whether Wesley is in it or not!

Exactly. It wouldn’t feel right to have any other actor play Blade other then Snipes. He was too perfect for that role.

Rewatched Blade 1 and 2 last year after a long time and I forgot how damn good they are. I would even say they are better than a bulk of today's superhero films.
