Wesley Snipes doesn’t get enough credit for saving Marvel.

It's crazy because I've seen people say they didn't know Blade was a comic book at the time but I remember seeing Blade in the Spider-man Animated series first as a kid before I saw him in the movie.

I said when I saw that status on FB about Snipes saving Marvel that Wesley deserves a Blade film with the new Marvel studios funding and promotion train. Wes deserves to be immortalized, but sadly it won't happen. He may not be old now, but by the time they put everyone together for a movie, he will be too old for the role.

I cannot and will not support a recast/reboot whether Wesley is in it or not!

What about Sticky Fingaz

My bad.

I meant first black marvel superhero movie.

Everyone made such a big deal about it. I understand the significance of BP but didn’t know it wasn’t the actual first black character.
Its all good. I guess I am somewhat well versed on the character since he was very popular in the 90s spiderman cartoon.

Blade was technically the 1st but it was rated R so not too many kids seen it. Black Panther however is Marvels 1st family friendly black super hero movie so that’s why it’s more significant.
