Can't relate.
Never had any beef with AAs or vice versa. In fact I consider myself an African-American.

And African Americans are more than just Africans dropped off in America. What's does this have to do with Jamaicans being part of the black race? Some clown in this thread tried to deny that.Jamaicans are literally an admixture of the whole world. Present day Jamaicans and Jamaican culture/knowledge is composed from every corner of the earth. We're more than just Africans that were dropped off in the Caribbean.
No two people are the same genius. You sound like a c00n. Jamaicans are just Africans who got dropped off in the carribean.

They still haven't answered the question![]()
When talking about how we perform academically, I take that shyt with a grain of salt. When black people, no matter where they come from do well academically there are so many factors that they had to overcome that I bothand
at they struggle.
Most Africans I met in college came from families that were educated and had some bread stacked up to pay (most international students don't have the luxury of financial aid or scholarship access). While blacks Americans have well-documented struggle with access to higher learning. On a whole we could do a lot better with developing the thirst for knowledge.
I can only speak about myself with 100% facts, soMost of my family made damn sure a lil nikka knew to get his education. So this point my be better analyzed at a smaller scale, the family/community scale

Sadly you have other Blacks even on this board that think that they are better. The fact that they even came over here and thought they were better even though they literally only have the opportunities they have because of the black folks that BEEN here makes me write anyone off who thinks or has ever thought that way.
Are you mentally slow? What is confusing or hard to comprehend about the statement "no two people are the same"?You know Africa is a continent right? Am I supposed to identify as Ghanian? What do you mean no two people are the same?
You sound condescending and ignorant as fukk my g, stop before you embarrass yourself.

They won't answer it because it'll become very apparent who is doing what.
Very trueWhite Supremacy runs the world but that has nothing to do with this topic. Intraracial tension has been a staple of every culture. It was a staple of black cultures before we had contact with Europeans. It was a staple of Arab and Asian culture before they had contact with Europeans. Obviously, it was a staple of European culture itself.
Human nature is to have a preference for those who are the most similar to you and that includes appearance, culture, history, etc.

Yooo, appreciate the love bruh. I be tryna tell people about this struggle. It's hard, not impossible. Just gotta keep ya head up and expect to work hard.I love this statement man. The barriers are insane. Happy you made it in college man salute![]()
Who's they my g?
I hate this statement, because there's a lot of holes here. Every African I met in college came from some form of money ( Tuition is around 38,000, plus room and board is a extra 10,000). So I have to assume most of the Nigerians you meet in college usually come from money.
The reason I emphasize this is because upper middle/ rich/wealthy people in general always push there kids academically ( Regardless of race, culture and religion). So if America is getting the well off Africans then it would only make sense for them to push there kids more. It's not necessarily culture as it is a societal class issue. If you look up wealthy black neighborhoods in America ( Think Cambria heights in Queens, Think Prince George county in Maryland), the numbers between African Americans and Nigerians are comparable.
Secondly African Americans get pushed a lot to go to college. Go into any hood in America and they will tell you how there parents push them to go to college, so they don't have to live there struggle. Just saying!
