I understand that AAs take pride in their community. And that's okay. There's nothing wrong with that. Every group puts their own at their #1 priority than anything else. Every ethic group is guilty of this. And not just you guys. I'm talking Africans and WI are also pretty selfish in this regard.

Collaboration and common ground as one between different groups is what's lacking among Africans, WI, and AAs. That's the problem. We all prefer to cater to our own first.
