Westbrook...Do you think he will be happy being a Number 2 for much longer?

Seeing his style and his personality It seems like he would want some credit and we all know no one wants to be a Pippen ( I know he helped Jordan but for a long time it was said Jordan did it alone I remember the Jordan and his "supporting cast" talks).....:russ:

His skills best suit the #2. He doesn't have the passing or vision to see a true PG.

His attitude is #1 minded, though. He has argued with Durant and Scott Brooks and has sort of implied that they might be holding him back and when he gets pressed on clarifying that point gets frustrated because he has to hold his tongue. I'd say 2 seasons at best before him or Durant has to go.

He'll be fine because KD actually has his back.

I know people look at them like it's gonna be a Shaq/Kobe thing but during that situation Shaq stayed talking shyt about Kobe publicly. KD always has Westbrooks back and vice versa. They'll be fine.

Well, Shaq started off having Kobe's back too, putting his arm around Kobe and consoling him after he was shooting air balls that put them out of the playoffs and even when Kobe's confidence was rubbing other team mates the wrong way Shaq (and Brian Shaw) stepped in and had his back.....well you know how that ended.

No he didn't, by most accounts both of them were trying to make nice in the public but behind the scenes they were either distant or hostile. Shaq stayed complaining to Phil about Kobe and eventually started taking little digs at Kobe in public.

Yeah, Shaq took jabs but there were plenty of examples were Shaq and other team mates reached out to Kobe and made attempts to bond, it wasn't a hostile environment from get go, Kobe definitely didn't help the situation but atleast with them you didn't see the public outburst with those Lakers like we have already seen with Russ.

No he didn't start having Kobe's back, those seeds were sown almost from the very beginning. They had totally different personalities and never fukked with one another for that very reason.

OKC had a horrendous offseason and brought in nobody. Both Durant and Russell are gonna get all the shots they want. Until Russ comes back, Durant's gonna have to try to get 50 a game.
