Westbrook...Do you think he will be happy being a Number 2 for much longer?

That WAS the case, but after Westbrook got hurt a lot of people opened their fukking eyes to what was up. They need and compliment each other a lot better than a lot of dumb motherfukkers seemed to realize.
But why does it take that to see the NBA been around for 50 plus years why is it so hard to understand that when you have one great player by the time they get to playoffs. A smart team WILL find a way to shut that player down its just common sense you NEED a 2nd player to shift some attention but ever since "Jordan" you see people saying do it alone:stopitslime:. But I don't see Westbrook hanging aroung taking this abuse and never getting any credit.:yeshrug:

nah hes an alpha like kobe. very rare player but more importantly his ATTITUDE and mindset is in the vein of a kobe.

wish he would come to the LAkers after bean retires(not happening any time soon tho) could see it happening tho later in russ career
Im a Knicks fan and I hate the fact that the Lakers seem to get who ever they want some how....But I really see that going down and to be real that where i see him.:ehh:

People have these ultra nostalgic and insane memories of Jordan. People act like that nikka only played six seasons and carried a bunch of D-leaguers to the finals. The mythology surrounding Michael Jordan is like nothing I've ever seen before.

he gets all the shots he wants, especially now since they dont really have a legit third scorer. also i think he feels how much his impact is respected by his team, his peers, and the fans. clearly the team is nowhere near as good without him.

People seem to forget that Jordan had like 4-5 years before he even got to the playoffs and a "Real team like the celtics and the pistons" beat him all the time then he finally got a good coach and players around him THEN he started to win! But all we hear is Jordan and the Jordanaires.:what:

You know like I know he gets lots of shyt for playing like he does because when Durant can't get free because he is too weak and you as Westbrook KNOW you can get into the paint. And get into a a good pace people will say "why did westbrook take 2 more shots than KD?

For now but for some reason the media seems to make him the problem Durant is never to blame for anything. Matter of fact OKC was hiding Durant on Mario Clamers and lit him up for 25 points Durant never gets blame. Durant lost and had a bad 4th quarters last playoffs but still no blame he evern had people excusing him saying he was tired...:stopitslime:

That's the media talking all that shyt about Russy though. The Thunder & Thunder fans ain't complaining about him. He has been catching shyt forever & the team especially KD knows what he means so their the first ones to knock that stuff down. Plus Russy has never been too media friendly which isn't helpful if you don't want negative stuff said about you. Since getting hurt the media has realised exactly what he brings to the team & surprisingly enough Russy has been much more friendly to them during the interactions they have had so far.

As for the KD stuff he wasn't being hidden on Chalmers for any other reason than foul trouble. Last year wasn't a shock that he couldn't beat the Grizzlies by himself.

It's crazy at how many clowns on here and in general don't realize this.

TBH I don't think anyone still belived that after '91 right? I know the media was maybe still pushing that but it was clear at that point Pippen was a legitimate star...or wasn't it? I was outside of the US so less influenced by media I guess.
