1. Thunder
A healthy Sabo allows Ibaka to focus on defense instead of bricking perimeter shots.
2. Warriors
There defense has improved ten folds with the acquisitions of Iggy, O'neal, Speights and Douglas. There's no need for Landry and Jack now that the super splash bros and Barnes can focus on nothing but offense knowing that Bogut and the bigs have there back and Iggy will be matched up with the opponents best perimeter player. Curry doesn't have to worry about getting cock blocked by Jack anymore cuz Iggy will pass him the ball all game long.
3. Grizzlies
Hollins might be gone but Z-Bo and Gasol are still anchoring the team. Resigning Bayless and signing Mike Miller improves there offense drastically. Mike Miller was making it rain after he came back late in the playoff and teams will think twice about doubling Z-Bo and Gasol in the paint next season.
4. Spurs
Tim Duncan will be another year older and that finals game 6 collapse will always be with them.
5. Rockets
The D12 acquisition was nice but the problems that plagued D12 in LA will have to be addressed again in Houston. If D12 accepts his role as a shot blocker and rebounder than the Rockets can be a top 3 team in the West but if he demands shots and thinks he can post up than the Rockets will struggle.
6.
Clippers
Getting Doc Rivers helps but they never addressed their defense this off season. Getting ride of Bledsoe and Butler for JJ and Dudley does nothing to improve their weaknesses.
7.
Nuggets
New coach, new players but they should still be a playoff team next year with that mile high home court advantage.
8.
Pelicans
Anthony Davis looks like he's ready to turn the corner next season and Eric Gordon will be motivated knowing that he can't use the I don't have any help card next year playing along side All Star PG Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans.
