Damn it feels good to see so many nikkas have us in the top 3 in the west. This time a year ago we was coming off 23 wins. Salute Lacob, Jerry West and Bob Myers for getting us in the championship convo so soon.

warriors signed speights? great signing. great offseason
Yessss.

Speights is a goon and he will serve an important part in our rotation. I can already picture him picking a fight with Blake Griffin in the playoffs.

Got rid of Jack and Landry (2 non-defensive factors)

Gained:
Iggy(arguably best perimeter defender in the league)
Oneal(good low post defender)
Douglas(very good defender)
Speights(better D than landry, adds toughness)

And then Bogut is a top 5 rim protector when healthy and Klay thompson took strides in the playoffs to become a very good perimeter defender. He should improve as well. More experience for barnes as well, could be a stopper down the line.

Overall our FO really improved the teams defense.

one of the best scouted signings in a while. He compliments curry like few others. they can run through him on o to let curry play off ball and now they can hide curry on defense

1. Thunder
A healthy Sabo allows Ibaka to focus on defense instead of bricking perimeter shots.

2. Warriors
There defense has improved ten folds with the acquisitions of Iggy, O'neal, Speights and Douglas. There's no need for Landry and Jack now that the super splash bros and Barnes can focus on nothing but offense knowing that Bogut and the bigs have there back and Iggy will be matched up with the opponents best perimeter player. Curry doesn't have to worry about getting cock blocked by Jack anymore cuz Iggy will pass him the ball all game long.

3. Grizzlies
Hollins might be gone but Z-Bo and Gasol are still anchoring the team. Resigning Bayless and signing Mike Miller improves there offense drastically. Mike Miller was making it rain after he came back late in the playoff and teams will think twice about doubling Z-Bo and Gasol in the paint next season.

4. Spurs
Tim Duncan will be another year older and that finals game 6 collapse will always be with them.

5. Rockets
The D12 acquisition was nice but the problems that plagued D12 in LA will have to be addressed again in Houston. If D12 accepts his role as a shot blocker and rebounder than the Rockets can be a top 3 team in the West but if he demands shots and thinks he can post up than the Rockets will struggle.

6.
Clippers
Getting Doc Rivers helps but they never addressed their defense this off season. Getting ride of Bledsoe and Butler for JJ and Dudley does nothing to improve their weaknesses.

7.
Nuggets
New coach, new players but they should still be a playoff team next year with that mile high home court advantage.

8.
Pelicans
Anthony Davis looks like he's ready to turn the corner next season and Eric Gordon will be motivated knowing that he can't use the I don't have any help card next year playing along side All Star PG Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans.

I'm sure D12 will turn into Hakeem some day and develop a post game :russ:

You guys gonna be existing to watch in the regular season but come post season D12 is gonna be a non factor going up against guys like Duncan, Splitter, Bogut, Ibaka and Marc Gasol. Heck even big Perk will shut that nikka down :lolbron:

2-4 is a toss-up to me but this.

And will Westbrook be healthy their first game?

Ya you right 2-4 is a toss up between the Spurs, Warriors and griz. I think Westbrook will be ready to go when the season starts though cuz a meniscus tear isn't as serious as a torn Acl or Mcl. A healthy Sabo masks a lot of the Thunders weaknesses cuz the defense has to focus on him and Durant leaving everybody else wide open. Young Sabo will finally get the respect he deserves next year as a top 5 player in the league.
