It's not hard to figure out when Griselda is bigger than Roc. Gunn has 10x the monthly streams so of course he's moving more merch with a way bigger fanbase. The Flygod hoodies were sold out and getting flipped on eBay and that repeated on restocks. Roc never did restocks. Merch was one of the things Griselda was known for.

As far as Roc is concerned, you're right. I'm old enough to know that dude has been around forever. So I never associated him with anything Griselda was doing. It's two very different things, to me. We've seen Roc try a variety of things and run with a lot of different crews before having success. And almost 30 years since we first started hearing him, his following is still mad niche. He's an acquired taste. Griselda is a movement. It's way different. They've reached a level that's rare for most underground artists. And it's honestly a level that Roc still hasn't reached himself.

Their goals and trajectories are mad mad different.

You like using anecdotal evidence like it means something. First off Gallery Dept is not Roc's merch line ATK is. I've seen people in Gallery Dept but I've never seen anyone in NYC or any city in ATK I have seen people in GxFR. By your logic that's a stalemate. Problem is there's no logic in anecdotes. The handful of people we've seen proves nothing. No one I know listens to Taylor Swift. That doesn't negate the fact she's selling millions because my small circle isn't her fanbase.

Pretty much all of their merch sells out quickly. If they're both printing up the same amount of hats, hoodies, shirts, etc but one side restocks and the other doesn't we can guess who sold more. Not to mention Gunn was releasing merch for him and Conway so that's 2 artists vs 1. They were also putting out merch in between albums where Roc dropped his with the music. The volume alone points to GxFR selling more.

We can quantify who has the bigger fanbase and that's Griselda. More fans = more merch sales.

They work together for the brand nikka. Since then. He’s been part of the brand too, he will tell u this himself. I literally have videos with me and Roc Marci together and he got on an all diamond art that kills chain on his neck.
