Crazy shyt.

He has a lot wrestling references, general wrestling shyt with his entire artistic profile.

But so does Bad Bunny and they treat that muthafukka like a golden boy.

Im sure triple hhh racist ass is behind it. And this is with me having not watching wwf shyt since the early 2000’s

Gunn too street for that shyt and need to be just a fan from afar. Theyy aint fukkin with duke clearly.

As much as I cringe when Gunn does these whiny rants, he definitely has a point when he draws comparison in how he incorporates wrestling into his aesthetic/champions it the way Wu did with karate flicks.

He’s legitimately a fan of something that while popular, a lot of people view as juvenile/corny/niche…and does make it appeal to a certain audience that wouldn’t otherwise pay attention. Don’t have to love his music or like him…but if they can’t appreciate that purely from a business perspective, it’s very telling/racist/wack.

WWE are a billionaire business breh :mjlol:

Wu-Tang was sampling Japanese flicks that weren't highly accessible to the average head in the early 90's breh.

Westside has no business comparing the 2.

A lot of rappers need to start running their "serious" posts through chat gpt or something.

The reason for why he got kicked out is mad confusing. On the one hand he was "trying to talk" to a certain person behind all the mess, on the other hand he got into some cease and desist problems with using their brand?

If he got kicked out for trying to run up on some senior director at TKO at his own event on some G shyt, what the fukk did he think would happen? :snoop:

"I'm no longer a fan of the Steelers, they threw me out when I tried to run up on Tomlin at the game and question his leadership!!"

Dude's a weirdo. Why keep looking for acceptance and spending your bread with a company that clearly doesn't fukk with you and thrown you out of a few of their events already. He been real flagrant using WWF/WWE shyt for years to promote his albums (Heels Have Eyes series) . Surprised they haven't banned him from all of their events by now.

The Wu were a phenomenon. Sold millions of records and are one of the most influential acts in hip hop history. You can't compare them to Griselda. Wu were bigger than the Kung Fu flicks they were sampling. Gunn is a niche artist. He ain't doing shyt for WWE. No one checking out WWE off a Westside Gunn mixtape :heh:

He ain't even the first rapper to use wrestling in his aesthetic. Method Man himself has done it. Action Bronson was on that wave heavy too. I don't see why he doesn't just stick promoting more niche shyt like AEW or his own promotion. WWE have shown for years that they don't fukk with him. It's just another rude awakening for these Griselda rappers that they ain't as big as they think they are. WWE will crawl on their knees for recognition from any mainstream celebrity usually but Gunn ain't moving that needle.

GREAT POST :pachaha:
