BDP, Shootouts in Soho and Red Death are serious, production-wise. You can't ever lose with that vintage Griselda sound. I wanted to see Daringer on this one though. I knew we wouldn't get an actual RZA track that Gunn would rap over, lol. Not in 2022.

Also thought it was dope that Benny switched up the flow and acknowledged it on Red Death. I'm sure he was tired of everyone saying he raps the same on every joint. Solid project on the first couple listens. It's always good to get some new sh*t from WSG. Definitely gonna be playing this for a minute.

Agreed. I've liked West's recent work where he takes more of a back seat and lets other rappers and producers shine. Reminds me of an underground Diddy now. On these recent joints it's dope that he's got Jadakiss, Wayne, Jay Elec, Black Star, Rae, Ghost, and Busta, all taking center stage. Putting Stove God on every other joint. Letting Boldy James, Mach-Hommy, and Rome Streetz have long verses and solo joints.

Using big name producers like Swizz, RZA, Madlib, and Alchemist, but also bringing up a new in-house production team with Conductor, Denny, and Monk...

Dude has really mastered the art of being a marquee name without having to be the star of the show.

:wow:
I know what you're saying, he's undeniably dope at masterminding albums, but I like his little stories and weird refs and vocals.

I know some people don't like his voice but I have faith he could make a dope fully solo album. If he really wants to A&R for others it will crush the competition. I think Wu, Jada, Busta are prime for that. I'd love to see it.
