Around what time did you work there? Because I'm 100% sure that Eminem didn't want to make songs like "Love the Way You Lie" and "Space Bound" but Interscope was getting in his ear.
Based on my understanding from Eminem’s fans, Spacebound is loosely based on the circumstances that lead to Eminem’s favorite uncle taking his life. I want to say this happened not long before he started putting together the album, so if true it makes sense that he would want that song as a single as some kind of way to get closure.
Interesting that there wasn’t one single nomination for Westside Gunn or Benny at the BET hip hop awards despite both releasing a lot of music this year, yet the guy they pay a percentage to for management, manages to get a nomination?

I think Eminem's learned from previous instances where this happened. He's not going to write a hook for WSG or Conway and expect them to use it, or executive produce an album for Griselda with Skylar Grey on the lead single.

That should've happened, Em obviously doesn't put these placements himself it seems. Not sure who is doing what but they ain't doing much for Griselda.

Then respectfully, Benny should just stop wasting money on the management deal with Roc Nation. His efforts of 19k first week in my opinion were as a result of his own promotion and hard work.
In my opinion, and I’ve said this before, these guys have boxed themselves into a niche. If they want to stay there that’s fine. I personally can see them doing very well overseas. However through Roc Nation, Benny and Gunn should have access to a roster of mainstream artists, imagine if they were to get an Alicia Keys or Rihanna on the hook of a song? that would definitely elevate them to the next level without having in large to digress too much from their roots....but that doesn’t appear to be happening.
If I was paying a percentage to a prominent management company, my face should be everywhere, and I should at least be nominated for every eligible award.
