Is this newly recorded music or tracks that were put on hold?

I haven't played the album in full..maybe it's just me but this sounds like a recycled album, it's like I've heard a variation of these lyrics from them before.

That's why I'm wondering if it's a new record or one put on the back burner and finally came to see the light of day. Now, maybe it'll sound fresher once I listen to it later in full .

Y'all saying it's better than some of Conway's and WSG other releases this year but we'll see.

This album was recorded over a week or so in 2016 but before it was released, Conway and Gunn signed the Shady deal and due to sample clearance issues and other contractual issues, this was never able to be released when it was intended. Once it wasn't coming out, some of the songs on here were released in other spots. 94 Ghost and Fork in the Pot were released on wax by Alchemist around the same time as Fetti with Spitta and Gibbs. And the songs Rey Mysterio and Judas were on other Alc projects in 2018.

But this is the first time the whole project has been released in its entirety. It's been talked about for years though.

it's doper though. I still fukk with griselda and I'm not about to stop, but you can hear a hunger in the music around this time that just isn't there quite as much now.

West is way cornier now, and that run of Conway when he was recording this Hall Nash 2 along with GOAT at the same time (and Blakk Tape) was super raw.

This was such a breath of fresh air back then. If they really do drop a new Hall & Nash next year I'm not expecting it to be as dope as this one.

Yea no doubt. You’re right about WSG as well. On this tape he’s not actually as annoying Definitely was recorded during the rawest era of Griselda. I know I’ve heard a handful of these tracks over the years.

Good that they finally released the proper album. Just sucks it took so long

Agreed. Would've been crazy if this dropped when it was originally slated.

Shyt makes sense that this is older material, because I'm listening on Conway on Fork in the Pot like "where'd this Conway go? Ain't heard this version of him in a long time"
