The rumble didn't "sucked", it just lacked certain elements and felt half assed. For the most part it was a ok rumble at best. Trust me, compared to the 95 Rumble...this rumble was a classic. It got so real that even Vince rolled his eyes at the shyt and even spilled the beans that HBK was winning the rumble.

Just watched it yesterday. it sucked imo

-Not a single "complete surprise"or"Unexpected Legend" entrant, which are a big part of the enjoyment of the rumble

-Too many people at once for too long, with nothing really happening(seriously, this is probably in the top 5 of the "highest number of people in at the same time" category lol)

-Jericho staying outside for half an hour randomly, then returning with no clear reason why he returned and didnt stay safe on the outside or exit again when lesnar entered, and the commentators acting like"he has been in the rumble for an hour! my god!"despite that.

-Reigns throwing every smark favorite out like a bag of potatoes, including taker(unless this is a prelude to a reigns heel turn, which i suspect and hope for,as long as he stays far away from the streak)

-Goldberg again humiliating lesnar, further proving that the streak died for nothing. i know lesnar will "get his revenge"at mania, but that doesnt change how awful the entire thing is.

-Orton winning, while unexpected,is both random and reeks of the classic vince mentality of not giving anyone new a chance. a far better choice that would have moved the exact same storylines would have been Wyatt.

seriously, the only entertaining part was strawman demolishing everyone lol.

Roman just ruined the whole vibe tbh. I wish they had more than 1 surprise entrant because I would've nut if we had people like Angle and Shelton Benjamin enter.

Roman was such a wasted #30 spot, they could've used that on Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, or any other currently injured superstar. I'm so tired of them pushing Roman to be the next big star. I get it, he has the look, but the past few years he has barely improved at all and is just so unappealing to watch compared to Ambrose and Rollins.

John Cena winning wasn't the greatest but that whole match vs. AJ Styles itself was really god damn good, everything else I can't really complain about.

Orton winning is so much better than Roman winning, but I really don't see the point of him winning since he doesn't actually need it. At this point it's Cena-Orton Round 10000, and I don't want to see that again at WM.

They really wasted the Rumble this year, and I hope the WM card is much better cause that was just plain ass. I get Goldberg embarrassing Brock again, but man, come on son..

What a bunch of god damn nerds. Where's my surprise legends :mjcry:
You were supposed to be mad at Reigns eliminating UT, so you could be happy Orton dumped him

I was mad at that too, so I'm happy Orton dumped Reigns. Reigns was just a complete waste of a #30 spot. Finn Balor would have been so perfect but I don't even know how much longer he's injured for.

Easy setup for Reigns vs UT at Mania

If Reigns wins what? People will complain and keep watching like they always do

Obviously, but he really doesn't need it at all. It's clear that he's already going to be the next star and Undertaker has nothing left to prove or really do at this point.

I dont agree, at all. I was very entertained and unsure of where it was going all night. I didnt like Corbin eliminating Stroman, because it's nlt convincing that they're rival monsters or equals, Braun looks way more convincing. Other than that I had no complaints, except maybe for no Brock vs Taker vs Goldberg.

One of the better rumble matches of the last 10 years to me. Goldberg/Brocks interaction, Big Show and Stroman, and the ending sequence were all memorable.

What does being a future HOFer have to do with people complaining about Orton winning? The gripe with him winning is because not only does he not need the win to pad his stats on his HOF resume, but moreso because he is nowhere near being in a position where a RR win is needed or makes sense.

Not to mention, judging by SD last night, this is just being used to further the Wyatt angle. Given that Bray was also one of the last guys left in the RR and is in the Wyatt family, a win for him would have meant much more and could have served the same purpose in the storyline.

Also, using Batista/HHH second wins as evidence for why this was ok doesn't really work when both guys were also shyt on for some of the same reasons as this Orton win.
:dahell:I said that in response to you sayin he's not Hogan/Austin the point was they all big names/HOFers that got the shot when they didn't "need" it, the gripe people have wit him that you just mentioned applied to both Hogan and Austin which was my point all 3 of them didn't need it to pad their stats and coulda main evented without it but people didn't have a problem wit it back then. I brought up Batista and HHH to show that its been done regularly thru Rumble history but people didn't start whinin about it til recently I said the same thing when people complained about those 2 winnin as well, and obviously a Rumble win for Bray would mean more for him but nobody cares about Bray Wyatt he been losin damn near every PPV match he's been in so havin him win the Rumble tellin everyone months ahead of time that he gonna main event Wrestlemania wouldn't build any anticipation shyt woulda been as much a let down for casuals as Orton winnin is for you smarks.:pachaha: They did what was best for business and went wit one of the biggest names around who hasn't been in the championship picture in a while, and I think they still prolly gonna do Orton/Cena at Mania puttin Bray in that match will be less interestin for people than another Orton/Cena cause they would need more than a month and a half to build Bray up as a legit star for the Mania main event dude been complete mid card status for the last 2 years.

Is it really clear that Reigns is going to be the next star :pachaha:? We're almost 5 years in.
