There's no age per say. Moreso situation.

Pure laziness gets you bushed quick

Told both of my son's (17 and 12), you got three choices

College
Trade
Military

If they need to move back in to stack bread, that's fine as long as their is a plan.
Fair enough, but cats is applying Xennials cookie cutters talking bout 26 and "30 is too late". The benchmarks of old don't blanket the crowd the way they used to.

My pops told me right before I graduated high school "As long as you're going to school or working, you can stay as long as you want."

Sometimes I wish I heeded that advice and stayed a bit longer, but I still couldn't see myself living with my parents past 25.

Man...I would lose my shyt living with my moms at 30+ in human years (RIP)

  • Wanting me to get her some ciggys
  • Running to the store left and right for bullshyt
  • Getting her things from water to whatever the hell
  • Complaining about every ailment in the holy bible
:hubie: Breh I would live my best life in a cardboard box, before going back to that caretaking evil and I loved my moms :mjcry:

Theirs no age limit tbh, everyone's situation is different. All parents have diff. Standards. Culture plays a big part into it too.

My only issue is dude's who don't take accountability.

:dead: Reminds me of when my wife and I had to moved in with her peeps for a spell. The moment her parents had to go outta town for her father's endless health issues, we got in her old room and knock the living boots out of one another.

Thank the lord the Joey was knocked out, because he would had thought his parents really hated each other :damn:

It doesn't matter. :yeshrug:

There are tons of black people not living with their parents and have nothing at all to their names. If you're a bum you'll be a bum anywhere. Living in your own apartment doesnt mean you automatically become some responsible upstanding individual.

If your parents did a good enough job by 18 you'll be working, in college or otherwise exploring your time positively. The world is only getting more expensivve and people more isolated. Look how many lonely, single dudes are out there consuming some bullshyt podcast ideologies.

A lot of times, parents are happy their kids are there anyways.

I still live in the apartment I grew up in , while my parents retired to their country.
They do come once a year for about 2-3 months for medical appointments and other errands.

I do have a career , but I know that if I ever move out...I would be paying double of what I currently pay
and I rather not do that.

I'm 34.
