There are Honda’s and Toyota’s on the road with literally over 1 million miles on them with the original power train. Some have ~1.2 million in the world.

My wife’s Civic is at 500k miles and is waiting for it to give out to replace it. I told her she might have that car for another 500k miles. That’s LA/SD traffic too.

People will really pay $30k on cars that blow up after 100k miles. Folks will spend $200k-$300k on cars vs $40k total on two where $450k can be placed in an index fund instead which’ll convert to $10+ million over the long run.
Rep. We are a Honda family. My pops put 300K+ on his ‘95 passport, then 300k+ on his ‘05 pilot, and now sitting on 300k+ on his ‘15 pilot. All had first engine and transmission on them. We drive from Cali/Texas to Belize twice a year.
:wow:
He wants my MDX but I ended up not moving to Japan so he has to figure out his next vehicle. I whipped his ‘95 and ‘05 vehicles for years with no problem. Gave them to another family member when I was done with them.
:blessed:

I told ya’ll, when Republican presidents take over after after Democratic presidents the debt jumps up a ridiculous amount every time.

Joe Biden had the lowest debt increase going back to JFK after Trump is done this term that shyt going to be record breaking.

:wow::umad:

We’re already up $11 trillion in debt from Biden and it’s only been 1 year!

All that military spending to still be short on missiles against Iran is hilarious.

The Chi (South Side)

No federal taxes on anyone making less than 45ka year

New proposal for tax relief for poor & elderly people on a fixed income, hopefully single moms eat off of this if it passes

And here’s how this works by the numbers.

If you make less than $46,000 a year,
which is the national medium income, you won’t have to pay any federal income tax. And if you make up to $80,500 a year, or are a married couple making less than $161,000 per year, you get a tax cut. And it’s fully paid for with a tax on people making millions of dollars a year.

honestly, most lower income earners don't really pay taxes in the first place.

Anthropic just says a lot of dumb shyt in general. I wouldn't take anything they say too serious.

Outside of that:
Our Economy has been trouble for a few years now, this much was obvious post covid and the slowing
of the quantitative easy efforts. We had a lot of assets grabbed during the low interest rates.
Now we find out who the real hustlers are once money is expensive.

In 6 months there will still be white collar workers needed.
AI will not take over the world in 4 years.
And we'll have to deal with the ramifications of our most recent war.

Nothing changes because Congress doesn't know what their job is & waits for the president to bring things forward . Congress can easily get some good tax accounts together to write a fair eye are es tax plan that we can all like
