how you figure? a lot of those folks who would be drafted are college aged and probably aren't really in the workplace, and if they are, they are likely working some entry level job.

Correct, the Fed Chair's term is 4 years and the President gets to appoint or reappoint whom they see fit. Powell's term is up this May.
