Walk past money and not pick it up I mean change like nickels and shyt:skip:
I once ruined a social experiment, because i saw a quarter lying on the path in the park. I picked it up and tried to skip it across the pond. Somebody came running up with a camera talking about they where filming trying to see who would try to keep the money or ignore it. apparently they were making the people who took it give it back and shaming them for taking money that wasn't theirs instead trying to return it. (not sure why they thought people would bother doing that with a quarter as opposed to like a wallet full of money) but i apparently i messed up their joke.

Not necessarily poor people things, but I do well for myself and I still sneak snacks into the movie theater
Naw man fukk that these movie theater prices are ridiculous and they don't even be having the shyt I want. Why wouldnt I go get exactly what I want for a fraction of the price?

- Cooking my own food.
- Gonna strike a nerve with some people, but watching sports religiously.
- Doing my own vehicle maintenance.
- Going out in public without security.
- Managing my own money. Too many stories out there of people being ripped off by "accountants."

i used to do everything y'all listed so far, then i just let go one day. the reward and planning portions of my brain finally adapted to a shift in resource abundance and i totally lost my sense of money. i keep justifying my massive expenditures as me enjoying myself while i still have my health. every time i skip buying something i want, even a lil bit, i regret it knowing i won't be able to enjoy my money when i'm old the same way i can now. so why not live it up?

somewhat related? https://www.thecoli.com/threads/i-cant-control-these-urges-please-help.958462/post-48332405

to answer the question tho, sometimes i do a reset to get my mind right again. a few days of not spending, dressing like shyt, eating the poverty food i used to love... shyt makes you remember how little you need money except for the freedom it gives. i still do all home improvement/work on my cars myself cause nothing gets done right if you don't do it yourself, and i like tinkering/treat it as a learning experience. i'm getting paid to sharpen a skill (by not having to pay a contractor to do it), and if i fukk up i still have the option to hire someone else to fix it. oh, and i still use grocery bags for trash cause buying proper ones takes more effort and doesn't improve my quality of life. :pachaha:

If you’ve seen the dish that Steel made in Juice, that’s a reality when no one is over at my house.

We used to call that mush growing up. Gimme a ramen, some American cheese , eggs plus what ever is in the fridge at the time and I’m good
