Backlund beating Bret Hart so he could then drop the belt to Diesel- 1994

Bret Hart beating Diesel so he could drop the belt to HBK- 1995/96

Sgt. Slaughter beating Ultimate Warrior so he could drop the belt to Hogan- 1991

Jericho winning undisputed title so he could drop it to HHH- 2001/02

Bret Hart beating Undertaker so he could drop it back to HBK -1997

HBK beating the Bulldog for the Euro title so he could then 'drop' it to HHH- 1997

Bret Hart beating Ric Flair so he could then drop the belt to Yoko- 1992/93

Sid beating Bret Hart so he could drop the belt to Undertaker- 1997

Both of Big Shows title reigns in 1999 and 2002 were transitional.

And I would also consider Undertaker beating Hogan at Survivor Series 91 to be a transitional reign, he would lost it back to Hogan days later in controversial fashion which put the title on the line in the Rumble and allowed Flair to win it.

That's off the top, not sure if all those truly qualify as transitional reigns in everyone's mind, and I'm not trying to shyt on the Hitman but a lot of his reigns seemed transitional and thats not even counting his one day reign after the Final Four PPV.

That one made no sense at all. :mindblown:

Made Bulldog look like a punk in front of his home crowd for a title that he didn't even need.
