Also since I'm black and quit or low key, men tend to think I'm militant irl, and women tend to think I'm super nice off jump.

I dont care for stereotypes, cause if I was giddy at the good ones, why should I suddenly be upset at the bad ones that *WE* know are true in a lot of cases?
Light skinned and I speak with a general American accent:
White people see me as approachable.
At first glance, Black people assume that I'm new black. Although a 5 minute conversation usually changes that.
I'd be lying if I said there were no positives to this set up.
The cons:
Caucasian overload.
I've seen too much casual racism dropped in front of me.

Do you care if people approach you with positive stereotypes? If white girls approach you because of your BBC or white guys pick you to be on their sports team because they think you are athletic? Or people think you know the best fried chicken spots?

I do like the fact that white people in my field are a little scared of me and walk on eggshells sometimes because
1) Black male
2) Marine
So I think it keeps them from getting out of pocket and saying the fly shyt I hear about white folks saying to other black folks at their jobs.
