15 years ago, my babies were starting to walk, read and show their personalities. At that point, my life became them. I stopped going out. Stopped doing stupid shyt. Stopped caring about what other people thought and just focused on being the best father I could be. I kept my health up and a fitness routine, but a lot of the things I used to be so wrapped up in no longer mattered.

Stopped watching sports. I just watch highlights on YouTube now.

Stopped hanging out with friends because most of them revealed their true colors and fukk that.

Stopped trying to control the narrative about me. People can say or think what they want to as long as my kids and wife love me.



I still dress nice and care about my appearance because it makes me feel good to look good.

it never matters at the end of the day. very few appreciate the little things you do for them that isn’t immediately noticible (walking with people who were left behind the rest of the group on the side walk).

when hard times hit and you need someone on your side for once, the same people couldn’t care less and will laugh at, or abandon you.

people try to invite you to their circles for attention and control, only to their benefit.

i used to try to defer to group dynamics but it always irritated me deep down. all the vanity and small talk about stupid shyt that doesn’t really matter or reflect my true values. people expecting you to perform to their approval for meaningless “cool points”.

you can never be too loud of a threat or you’ll end up stealing the other person’s shine and get hated on or dirty macked.

they expect you to be their follower and endorser when you could just stay at the crib. while they don’t do shyt but steal your sauce.

i only like being around my family travel group.

It’s really a shame what has happened to the genre. Black empowerment is a thing of the past and anytime there is black positivity it gets suppressed.

Never idolize rappers, but Jay-Z, Nas are lame as fukk to me. Nas for one being on his high horse talking about he would never promote alcohol now here in 2025 he’s Hennessey’d out everywhere.

It’s just a shame that when you take a step back and look at the people you grew up watching are nothing more than highly paid puppets paid to push an agenda for the invisible puppet masters.
