I feel like if a person has a decent to great career/ job but they tend to:

-drive a modest, reliable car (Honda, Subaru, etc.)
-live in a modest home but the home has nice, modern, minimalistic aesthetic
-a focus on travel and is not all over social media with it
-humble, lowkey person
-clothing isn't high priced per se but the fit is immaculate
-fridge has whole foods in it (not the grocery store but foods like whole grains, blended juices, organic supplements, etc.)

As a former financial advisor, I noticed these things among my black clientele.:wow:
Bingo! The truly wealthy go out of their way to be as understated as possible.

It's only when you spend a lil' time with them that you realize the subtle giveaways: the bland looking $8,000 Breitling, the doctorate from King's College London, the million dollar art/ wine/ car..etc..collection, vacations in a private island in the Maldives...You get the drift.

When the only bodily jewelry you wear (besides a *plain* wedding band) is a signet ring.

And in 2023, you actually use that m'fer.

Yep, used to be primarily old money types to use this stuff. Basically a family crest used to seal documents and letters.

That's European old money though.

Great call on the Aga too. I would've said Hallman but even that's a major step down from Aga.

Generic luxury car with a very expensive private numberplate. The numberplate could be worth 6 - 7 figures.
