Remain calm! Watch what you say and do in response to any incident because it will be used against you!

Document everything and try to establish a pattern over time, if possble.

Obtain witnesses and get documents notarized.

Seek counseling to establish mental anguish and stress.

Before you hire a lawyer, you have to present your issue with HR, a steward or business agent (if you are union) or a supervisor/manager for them to rectify the problem. If their decision isn’t satisfactory, then go up the chain of command.

After that, if you need to seek legal counsel, the. So be it.

Just make sure all of your ducks are in a row, nice & tight!!

Okay but what if you can't record it? shyt it was already said. It's not like you gonna have your phone out to record and they're gonna say it again. C'mon, y'all know these things are never that simple. And what if it's a customer which it most likely would be? In most cases employees know better. And what if there's no witnesses? Y'all know people try to do this shyt slick and cunningly so they can get away with it. Y'all sounding naive.
