The thing is, other teams did what they did including teams in their own division.
Dallas got docked 5 million the last two years too. I don't agree with the NFL retroactively docking teams for an "unfair advantage" they themselves created but the precedent was set, the penalties were assessed evenly, and the other teams that did not take advantage of the loophole were rewarded.
Shanahan got a 5 year deal, he will be around until the end of year 5. He doesn't necessarily deserve it. The playoff run and excitement brought to the franchise by the RG3 deal, along with Snyder not really giving a shyt as long as money is being made, will allow that.
