Here's the thing about PG closing.
The reason he doesn't have to is because he has Russell Westbrook, who fukking thrived in the fourth and close games. Westbrook taking the last shot probably won't be a problem especially if he's hitting them like last year. Pg just needs to (at the very LEAST) run the team when Russ sits, which we know he is grossly overqualified for.
Russ thrived last year in the clutch because he literally got to do whatever the fukk he wanted, his usage was crazy, it's what he had to do.

That 30 footer against Denver was pure BS lol.

Historically though he's not a clutch player. Bad elimination game performances, terrible shooter with game on line, meltdowns with T.O.'s and bad shot selection down stretch (jacking early in clock, forcing things), fouls/missed rotations gambling in crucial spots, sometimes he would shrug off KD.

I could see that. I feel like right now they have a chance to beat Houston, but it'll be tough.

Second round knock out like Paul George has been for the majority of his career. Not bad but you at least want to be in that WCF talk but I can't see them fukking with Houston at the moment.

Houston is that much better with CP3? :gucci:

Second round exit

Hopefully they play the spurs in the playoffs...we need Kawhi to force PG into another "i'm sick" game and this one needs to be nationally televised...

Potentially top 3 seed. They make it to the 2nd round and might be able to win it.

Injuries, contracts, bench players degrading.

All of that could happen, those 4 alone could have issues.
I definitely see klay leaving considering he's basically being phased out nowadays.
We ALWAYS think superteams will destroy the league for a decade.

Never happened. you get maybe 4 or 5 years of dominance if you're lucky. and their run been started for a minute now.

Warriors time isnt up yet, but they not gonna be running shyt into their mid 30's belee dat.
Injuries can always happen to any team we're not counting that we're obviously saying if the core is healthy, but even this year Durant got injured and they still won it would take one of the 4 being out through the playoffs to make a difference and even then they could win since they would still be one of the best teams. They're so far ahead of everyone that they could lose a player and still have a good chance at winning, you're fantasizing about all of these things happening because you hate them but they're probably not going to have to deal with any of those things.

Their run with Durant just started and Klay is still very important to them especially on defense people like you who pray on their downfall are hoping he leaves but he likely won't, 4 or 5 years of dominance is what I said only Curry would be in his mid 30s (34) the rest will be early 30s and role players will always want to join their team for a ring they won't be in need of bench players. The Lakers 3 peated and were in the Finals the next year and that was with all of the Shaq/Kobe beef which is the only reason they didn't remain dominant for the next several years, this team doesn't have that problem they're all unselfish and get along great with each other if you're waiting for something like that to happen you'll be waiting a long time.

Last year Westbrook was able to carry them to the 6th seed with a bunch of rookies, adams with no spacing and oladipo being hit or miss alot.

With paul george, an actual backup pg, and a decent 3 and D player in 2pat do you think they could make some noise in the playoffs?

Obviously not finals, but do you think they could hit WCF now?

I'm thinking optimistically, but I see them surprising everyone this year.

Who's the thunders backup pg

You're assuming I hate them which isn't true.

I liked their team before Durant because of obvious league fukking reasons.

Who wouldn't want them to at least downgrade a bit lmao?

Ask everyone who's a big fan of a team not named the warriors and ask them if they want the warriors to steamroll everybody for 5 years?

Their bench won't be better than it is this year, you're assuming they will always have good role players as if no one has ever suffered a major injury and never come back or just got worse the following year.

They ain't gonna dominate for 5 more years. It's not happening. The next two? Yeah I can agree with that, but it's crazy to think they will just have an unprecedented run when they've won once together with the core they have.

Every fan of a superteam assumes theirs will be the one that just fukks the league forever and the best one ever.

It hasn't happened yet. So hold off on saying yeah they'll dominate so long until they at least get a couple more.

Well Houston is a great team

Im actually one of those people who really believes the cp3 trade was bad for them.

Harden should've stayed point and then brought in melo, that would've been great

Demoting harden and ringing in cp3 who is known to be a very passionate leader who isn't afraid to get in teammates faces prolly won't fly as well because it's not his team anymore. Getting rid of Beverly was a mistake
