I own 2 businesses.

One studio in Seattle for yoga. Nice lake view and I have a white manager who collects my money. The trainers/clients don't know I am the owner nor even see my face. I put a white man in there to be my "face".

I charge 700 per month for each trainer to use the studio for their clients and training.

Got 15 trainers so far.

Got a vape shop as well that is doing pretty good which brings good business and keeps cac's smoking. Does high sales and 2 people working there for me.

It's not a side hustle per say but it keeps me out of working for white people.
Studio meaning music studio or?

No. Studio involving music is literally a bad fukking idea. I have a solid friend of mine who actually owns one.

He has a LOT of problems with nikkas not paying, fukking in the studio, fighting, fukking up equipment, and the like.

He says it's one of the WORST things any business owner can get involved in...and I have been on hand there to see how shyt goes down and it's just dusty nikkas and dusty bytches trying to reach a dream that won't happen.

I own a Yoga studio where trainers bring their clients and classes because of the lake view. Studio cost me 45K to own.

Did you pay cash or finance it?

I paid cash for it as cash speaks the loudest and at that time my credit was ruined BUT I had quite a bit of cash from a settlement for wrongful termination that really was the catalyst for working for myself.

When people see cash? All hesitation goes out of the window as most people especially cac's finance a lot of business purchases...but a nikka with cash speaks the loudest. When I went to buy that yoga studio the owner was a white man who was frustrated because he didn't want to finance the selling of it...but when I showed up with 45K in cash.

You would have sworn I was his fukking best friend.

So I took the earnings from that work payout and also a Mission Tortilla route that I bought which was my very first business to make the purchase. Once my studio was popping I took a years worth of my earnings to buy my 2nd business which is a Vape shop.

Why Vape? Cacs LOVE it. THEY LOVE TO SMOKE. So I bought that business from a woman who wanted to sell it and raise her family...she asked to stay on board and just work the shop. I was cool with it and also retained two of her part time employees. If you are curious I RARELY ever see any black, Latino or Asian Vapers.

I don't go into the shop or the studio as one thing I learned...White People HATE to give a black man their money but they will GLADLY take yours...so I put White Faces in place of mine running my businesses.

I have a white manager for my yoga studio and she collects my rent from the trainers, keeps me abreast me of any problems, and keeps things running.

Use them as they would gladly use you but every time I go somewhere and buy nice things...these white folks always ask questions then we get this conversation.

Q - Hey what do you do for a living?

A - I own a business.

Q - Oh really? What kind?

A - I ain't tellin

Q - Oh why not I want to own a business too.

A - Well go online and research it.

End of Conversation.

First off, quality posting :salute:

I've been planning on doing this very thing in Houston, buying a studio (or a warehouse to turn into a gym) and renting it out to personal trainers. I work a 9-5 making good money and i personal train / run boot camps at local parks as a side hustle turned LLC, but the terminal objective is to not have to put in the man hours and instead have the exact set-up you described.

The issue is that I know conceptually what I need to do but I'm not sure of the details. I know i need to scout around for studios and price ranges, then i have to figure out how this business line of credit works with this LLC/business credit cards. I have 30k saved up in my personal account but I like to keep that for a rainy day, so I want to purchase everything through my business. So that's an open question to anyone who has experiences with LLC/business cards/lines of credit.

Then, and this is more specific to you, how did you find yoga instructors to come to your studio? Did you use ads? Some type of marketing plan, or ppl you already knew? I have a concern of putting up all this overhead and then being dead in the water with noone to rent it out to.

And yea, the plan is also to hire a "friendly" face so that ppl don't even know i own the bytch. Which is why i'm leaning towards a studio, since it wouldn't require as much clean up/renovation as a warehouse. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated bro

Keep in mind I am not a expert and I winged this but use "white faces"

I hired someone to do marketing and a photographer to take some good shots. I also created some small glossy flyers for the "white face" to drop off to trainers and quite a few bit but most couldn't handle the price but those could came on board.

Marketer put up ads and the trainers came right to the "white face" to do business.

I didn't know anything about marketing or ads myself so I simply hired someone to do it but MIND you I do this at a very low low level.

I didn't have the credit to make a business credit line and personally I don't think I will get into that as I am using cash i make from my other business.

I have an accountant who is a black female who I known for YEARS. She holds it down and handles my financials to do double check when my "white faces" check in the books.

But i say again...I winged a lot of this and trial and error so I can't say im an expert.

Does this help so far brother?

It certainly does! Basically i'll have to reach out to those i've networked with over the years b/c there's too many moving parts that i wouldn't be able to master on my own. Like now that i thought about it, I did develop a good relationship with the director of sales (white guy) for this major real estate company i worked for some years back, also still know some of the leasing agents (black/hispanic girls). I may need to reach out to them to see if they could help me out with a studio at a good price or at least point me in the right direction.

I also have connects as far as photographers and marketers, folks i came up with in college back in the day who could help me on that end. Only thing i may struggle with is finding the white face but even then, i think the framework you laid out is sound and I feel I can cover all those bases. Basically we have our strengths and weaknesses as individuals, so surround yourself with people who are strong in your weaker areas and build that team.

And the accountant + the white faces, you have them all on payroll or just break em off a percentage?

I pay them by simply breaking off a percentage and it works. When I go over sales targets I set for myself I give them a small bonus monthly. Money talks. Bullshyt runs the marathon...but I don't make them aware of what those goals are...I prefer to keep that to myself and also I am not a company.

So far you ARE in the right direction but I would stick with "white faces"....if she is black she has to sound like she is white and ACTS white she may be black and female but still there is BIAS...if she is Hispanic she has to pass as white...sounds fukked up BUT that is what it is.

Make any sense? Also talk to some trainers....and visit some studios...before you jump into ANYTHING. I got lucky because a white man wanted to dump a studio rather than have his ex wife get it so......

Yea most def, this morning i've hit up a couple trainers i know and the director of sales guy for locations i should consider checking out.

And yea, i'm not one of those types who is naive to how these white folks act.. gotta be strategic the same way they are with us (like that black woman all up in them popeyes commercials). I'm going to find some white faces to pull up while i remain in the background.

I'll have to figure out the business aspect of things, since i'll likely run things through my LLC. I don't want to put anybody on a type of payroll that would complicate things with taxes/benefits/etc, I also don't want to give em a stake/claim in the LLC, so I'll have to see what i can do about simply 'contracting' them out. I actually got an experienced fam member who can handle the accounting, so i'm thinking more so of the white faces.

Do your white faces do anything more than collect the monthly checks? Like open up/close the shop, oversee things, etc?

I start full time work later this year (For the first time), and im doing my masters in accounting (firm paying for it :takedat:)

I'm almost 23 now

So only side hustle i got is selling virtual servers for specific customers that pay good money.

I've made $1000 alone in the last 2 months and although this market is declining FAST, I think i'll milk out $12,000+ in 1 year
Plus my assets (the computers) are worth a good amount. One will be worth (at the end of the year) $1200, and 2 will be $600 each.

Not much but it's teaching me how to save and manage money. Once i start working ima invest in a rental property soon as I get approved for a mortgage.

How can someone get started selling virtual servers? How do you find the servers? How do find customers?
